Desktop v1.20+ - unable to unlock with master password


Master Password unlocking issues with Desktop v1.20+

With the release of the v1.20+ desktop application, it requires Bitwarden Server v1.36+ due to some new parameters and endpoints used to authenticate/unlock the application.


If you’re experiencing this issue, please perform the following:

  1. Update for your Bitwarden instance.
  2. Log out of your desktop application completely, and back in.
